9. De ser posible, evite el uso de cables de extensión. Si debieran

usarse, minimice el riesgo de sobrecalentamiento procurando

que estén aprobados por UL. Nunca use un solo cable de

extensión para hacer funcionar más de un Ventilador. No enchufe

el Ventilador en un enrollador de cable.

10. No haga funcionar ningún Ventilador con un cable o enchufe

dañado o después de que el ventilador presente algún

desperfecto o haya sido dejado caer o sufriera cualquier tipo

de daño.

11.No introduzca ni permita que se introduzcan dedos u objetos

extraños en ninguna abertura de ventilación o escape, puesto

12.Siempre coloque el Ventilador sobre una superficie, estable,

plana y horizontal mientras esté en funcionamiento, para evitar

la posibilidad de que el Ventilador se dé vuelta. Ubique el cable

eléctrico de tal modo que el ventilador u otros objetos no

descansen sobre él. No coloque el cable de corriente debajo de

alfombras. No cubra el cable de corriente con tapetes, alfombras

estrechas o artículos de coberturas similares. No coloque el

cable de corriente debajo de muebles o artefactos. Coloque el

cable de corriente lejos del tráfico de la habitación, donde las

personas no se tropiecen con éste.

13.Este Ventilador no ha sido diseñado para usarse en lugares mojados

o húmedos. Nunca coloque un Ventilador donde quepa la posibilidad

OPERATION

1. Remove the Fan from the carton.

2. Place the Fan on a firm, level surface.

WARNING:

Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may stick

to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors. The unit may leave a

residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on

the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces,

and/or hardwood floors.

3. Plug the cord set into a 120 V~ electrical outlet. Be sure plug

fits tightly in outlet.

4. Turn the Fan ON by selecting the desired speed with the Power

Knob on the top of the Fan.

5. To adjust direction of air, simply turn the head of the Fan.

6. The ratchet adjustment will securely locate and hold the Fan

in the desired position.

7. To turn the Fan OFF, turn the Power Knob to OFF (0) and unplug

the unit from the electrical unit.

CLEANING:

Clean the Fan intake and exhaust openings with the

vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove

dirt and lint that may accumulate over time.

. Clean the body of the Fan with a soft cloth.

CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh clean-

ers, etc. as they may damage the Fan. NEVER use ALCOHOL

OR SOLVENTS.

WALLMOUNT:

THIS FAN MUST BE MOUNTED ON A STRUCTURALLY SOLID

FLAT SURFACE.

Only use #6-32 X 1" screws to mount this Fan. The screw length

must be long enough to engage the wall stud. If a stud cannot be

found or if the Fan is mounted on a masonry wall, obtain suitable

mounting anchors.

When mounting the Fan to the wall, the cord set MUST BE located

between the Body of the Fan and the Yoke of the Fan. (Figure 2)
