Safety precautions
Ergospace should only be used by adults and only for
normal vacuuming in a domestic environment. The
vacuum cleaner features double insulation and does not
need to be earthed.
Young children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance. Close attention is necessary
when used near children. The appliance is not intended
for use by young children and infirm persons without
supervision.
Never vacuum:
• In wet areas.
• Close to _ammable gases etc.
• Without a dust bag s-bag® to avoid damaging the
cleaner. A safety device is fitted, which prevents the
cover closing without an Ergobox™ / s-bag®. Do not
attempt to force the cover shut.
• When housing shows visible signs of damage
Never vacuum:
• Sharp objects.
• Fluids (this can cause serious damage to the machine).
• Hot or cold cinders, lit cigarette butts, etc.
• Fine dust, for example from plaster, concrete, flour, hot
or cold ashes. The above may cause serious damage
to the motor – damage which is not covered by the
warranty.
Electrical cable precautions:
• A damaged cable should only be replaced by an
authorised Electrolux service centre.
• Damage to the machine’s cable is not covered by the
warranty.
• Never pull or lift the vacuum cleaner by the cable.
• Disconnect the plug from the mains before cleaning or
maintenance of the vacuum cleaner.
• Regularly check that the cable is not damaged. Never
use the vacuum cleaner if the cable is damaged.
All servicing and repairs must be carried out by an
authorised Electrolux service centre. Be sure to keep
the vacuum cleaner in a dry place.If the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similary qualified person in order to avoid
a hazard.

Sicherheitsvorkehrungen
Kindern ist die Nutzung von Elektrogeräten nur unter
Aufsicht gestattet.
Niemals staubsaugen:
• In nassen Bereichen.
• In der Nähe von brennbaren Gasen etc.
• Ohne Staubbeutel s-bag® und ohne Motorschutzfilter, da
hierbei die Gefahr einer Beschädigung des Staubsaugers
besteht. Eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung verhindert das
Schließen der Abdeckung ohne eingesetzte Ergobox™ /
s-bag®. Abdeckung nicht gewaltsam schließen.
• Wenn das Gehäuse sichtbare Schäden aufweist.
Niemals staubsaugen:
•
Scharfe Objekte.
•
Flüssigkeiten (dies kann schwere Beschädigungen des
Gerätes verursachen)
•
Heiße oder kalte Asche, brennende Zigarettenkippen
etc.
•
Sehr feines Sauggut, z.B. feiner Gips-, Beton-,
Mehl- oder Aschenstaub und/oder größere Mengen
davon. Bei Nichtbeachtung oben genannter Punkte
können schwere Defekte am Gerät bzw. Folgeschäden
entstehen, diese Schäden sind nicht durch die
Garantieleistung abgedeckt.
Vorkehrungen bei elektrischen Kabeln:
• Ein beschädigtes Kabel sollte nur von einem autorisierten
Electrolux-Kundendienst ausgetauscht werden.
• Schäden am Kabel des Geräts sind nicht durch
Garantieleistung abgedeckt.
• Den Staubsauger nicht am Kabel ziehen oder
hochheben.
• Vor dem Reinigen oder der Durchführung von
Servicearbeiten am Staubsauger den Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose ziehen.
• Regelmäßig das Kabel auf Schäden prüfen. Den
Staubsauger nicht benutzen, wenn das Netzkabel
beschädigt ist.
Alle Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten dürfen nur vom
autorisierten Electrolux-Kundendienst durchgeführt
werden. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Staubsauger an einem
trockenen Ort aufbewahrt wird, da sich sonst sog. Flugrost
im Gerät absetzen kann.
