NOTE:
When references are made to gasoline engine
operations, refer to the engine manual for proper
procedure.
1. Before starting the compressor for the first time, ensure
proper oil level in the gasoline engine crankcase.
Risk of carbon monoxide
poisoning. Engine exhaust contains carbon
monoxide, an odorless and deadly poison. DO
NOT operate in an enclosed area. DO NOT mount
or operate in an enclosed vehicle, such as a van.

Check the level of oil in the pump with
the sight glass. The pump oil level must be between
A
and
B
. Do not overfill or underfill.

Remove the dipstick and ensure
that the oil level is between add (
B
) and full (
A
). Replace
the dipstick. Do not overfill or underfill.
3. Fill the tank of the gasoline engine with unleaded gasoline.
DO NOT MIX OIL WITH THE GASOLINE.
4. Move the unloader lever to the manual (horizontal) start
position (see
D
).
5. Open the petcock(s) on the bottom of the tank(s) (see
E
).
NOTE:
There are two petcocks on twin tank models.
NOTE:
If the unit does not operate properly, SHUT DOWN
IMMEDIATELY, and contact your nearest Service
Center or call the factory’s Customer Service
Department. DO NOT return the unit to the store
where it was purchased.
6. Start the gasoline engine according to the instructions in
the engine manual. Move the unloader lever to the run
(vertical) position (see
C
). Run the compressor for
about 30 minutes to break in the internal parts.
7. Shut off the gasoline engine. Close the petcock(s) (see
F
).
Connect your air hose to the tank outlet. Check that all
connections are tight. A small leak in any of the hoses,
transfer tubes, or pipe connections will substantially
reduce the performance of your air compressor.

fumée d’échappement du moteur contient de
l’oxyde de carbone, un poison inodore et mortel.
N’utilisez PAS l’appareil dans un espace clos. NE
montez PAS et NE faites PAS fonctionner
l’appareil dans un véhicule fermé, telle qu’une
camionette.

Vérifiez le niveau d’huile dans chaque
pompe avec le viseur (voir
A
et
B
). Le niveau d’huile de la
pompe doit être au repère maximum sur le viseur. Ne
remplissez pas trop et remplissez suffisamment.

Vérifiez le niveau d’huile dans la
pompe. Le niveau d’huile de la pompe peut être mesuré
soit avec une jauge de niveau soit en utilisant un voyant
en verre. Le niveau d’huile de la pompe doit être maintenu
au repère maximum (voir
B
et
A
). Ne remplissez pas trop
et remplissez suffisamment.
3. Remplissez le réservoir du moteur à essence avec de
l’essence sans plomb propre et fraîche. NE MÉLANGEZ
PAS L’HUILE AVEC L’ESSENCE.
4. Placez le levier du régulateur de pression sur la position
démarrent (horizontale) (voir
D
).
5. Ouvrez le robinet de purge en bas du réservoir (voir
E
).
REMARQUE
:
Les modèles à deux réservoirs comportent
deux robinets de purge.
